What health requirements must the cat meet for boarding?<\/div><\/div>

They must have a health booklet in which vaccines and internal and external deworming are done at least 10 days (vaccines) and 48 hours (deworming) before boarding, and they must be valid until the date of departure.
For the safety of all our guests, we only accept sterilized cats (if over 10 months old), with trimmed claws, free of contagious diseases, and not requiring intensive medical treatments (such as IVs, oxygen therapy, or continuous monitoring).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Can I bring the cat\u2019s personal belongings?<\/div><\/div>

Of course, you can bring anything your cat loves! A little blanket, a favorite toy, or bowls from home can provide the comfort of familiar scents and help her feel more relaxed during her stay.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Will someone play with my cat during the stay?<\/div><\/div>

Daily. Each cat will have a special schedule for petting and attention from us, as well as individual daily access to the play area and all the toys in the hotel, for as long as she wants. We don\u2019t watch the clock when it comes to playtime!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Can I visit in advance to see the location?<\/div><\/div>

Of course! We actually encourage this, so you can see the hotel with your own eyes and meet us in person. We warmly invite you to visit our location. Our address is Bd. Do you offer discounts for long-term stays?<\/div><\/div>

For stays of at least 30 nights, we offer discounts. Payment for any stay (whether 1 night or 50 nights) is made in advance at the time of check-in or reservation (for busy periods). Accommodation packages can only be booked through the website (via the Reservation Form) or by phone at +40 730 015 976.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Can the length of the stay be changed during the visit?<\/div><\/div>

The length of the stay can be extended, subject to availability, and only by confirming this by phone at +40 730 015 976. In this case, payment for the additional days will be made via bank transfer, based on the invoice issued by MauHotel.<\/em>
Shortening the length of the stay is possible at any time, but the cost of these days, reserved in advance, is non-refundable.<\/em>
If you are unable to pick up your cat on time, we kindly and strongly ask you to carefully read the Tenant\u2019s obligations in the boarding contract. Since we often have periods at full capacity, we may find ourselves in the unpleasant situation of having to refuse clients. How can we help each other? By all planning well in advance.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

What documents are required for Check-In \/ Check-Out?<\/div><\/div>

Upon check-in, the cat\u2019s health booklet must be handed over and the temporary boarding contract signed. At check-out, the health booklet and the cat\u2019s personal belongings, as specified in the contract, will be returned.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

How do I arrange transport for the cat to the hotel?<\/div><\/div>
\n

We suggest bringing her in her own carrier \u2013 this way she will feel safer and more relaxed during the trip. However, we know that many cats associate the carrier with going to the vet and may feel anxious. If you place a little blanket, a toy, a treat, or something with a familiar scent inside, the transition to MauHotel will be much easier.
If you don\u2019t have a car or available time, you can use our Pet Taxi<\/a>, in which case the cat will be handed over to the driver only by the owner.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Do I need to bring the food (dry\/wet)?<\/div><\/div>
\n

Yes. We prefer that you bring your cat\u2019s favorite food. You can also bring wet food if she is used to it. Some cats are delicate and may not like our kibble or may be more sensitive to changes in diet. If you forget to bring her food, we can feed her with her usual dry food for an additional charge \u2013 6.00 lei\/day.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Will my cat interact with other cats during the stay?<\/div><\/div>
\n

Cats that do not know each other will not be allowed in the shared space together, to avoid potential misunderstandings. Only cats from the same family can spend time together in a safe and relaxed environment. Foreign cats can interact with each other only through the door mesh; they can see and watch each other. From experience, we can say this can be beneficial \u2013 they may copy the play behaviour of other cats and it can help them adjust more easily during their first stay at the hotel.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

How often is the cat\u2019s cabin and litter cleaned?<\/div><\/div>
\n

The cabin is sanitized every morning \u2013 shelves, floor, and side walls. The cushions and sleeping basket are vacuumed and shaken daily. Food and water bowls are washed before each meal. The litter bedding is cleaned at least twice a day.<\/em><\/p>\n

We provide Silica, Bentonite, or Lavender Tofu litter. If your cat is used to a different type of litter, please bring it with you.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Is a contract signed?<\/div><\/div>
\n

Yes. We will sign a temporary boarding contract for the cat, which outlines the rights and obligations of each party. There will also be an annex to the contract specifying the price, duration of the stay, the quantity and type of food served, as well as any personal belongings brought for your cat. Under what conditions can I cancel a reservation?<\/div><\/div>
\n

Cancellation is free of charge if made at least 7 days before the start of the stay. Refunds will only be issued if this condition is met. Cancellation less than 7 days before the stay requires payment of the full stay (or just the first 7 days if the stay was longer). Exceptions apply during busy periods (Easter, Christmas, New Year, summer or winter holidays), when advance payments are non-refundable. The boarding fee is not transferable or applicable to another cat\u2019s stay.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
